Taste of Trelawny

The food, the atmosphere and the people at Taste of Trelawny are outstanding. I had never had Jamaican food before and a friend raved about the food, so I went to check it out. I had no idea what I wanted so the owner let me sample 4 things I was considering. It was hard to decide! Each time I go back I get something different. I can't say enough about the place. You will not be disappointed!

Taste of Trelawny is the best Jamaican restaurant me and my family have been too. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is so welcoming. The employees are very friendly and let you know about the food. If you are wanting to try something they give samples so you can order something you absolutely love. I highly recommend them if you are craving Caribbean food 100% authentic!!

I dined in on Wednesday night with two friends. I got the brown stew chicken with cabbage and plantains and rice, my friend got steamed red snapper with cabbage and rice and my other friend got spicy jerk chicken. There was enough food for all of us to bring home and have again for lunch the next day.
While there, we were also able to sample the curry chicken and ox tail. The taste of everything we had was amazing and home cooked with fresh ingredients. The service was amazing and willing to allow us to try items...I will be back!!!

Food is amazing. Staff is just as amazing. Always ready to give a sample of the latest recipe. Brown chicken is the best. Jerk Chicken is not for the faint. Get the mild if you are not into spicy food. Was in the other day and they now have beer in the cooler

Great food and Customer service. For food I Had both the Jerk chicken and Curry chicken and All I can say is yummy. Curry chicken was very flavorful and moist. The Jerk chicken comes in both Hot and Mild (For those who cant eat hot) Both are flavorful and moist smoked on a grill. I definitely will keep going back
