The Grounds

The Grounds has the best, most attentive staff who get to know you without being intrusive. The atmosphere in this store is comforting, whether you are by yourself or with others. I love this store. Going there is like going on vacation....always enjoyable.

Stopped in for the first time today. I really enjoyed the quiet rustic atmosphere. Lovely pine and Christmas light decor. I ordered white mocha and my husband got the espresso. I'm a big fan of Starbucks and wanted to try here in comparison. The white mocha is absolutely fantastic!!! I love the fact that the sweet didn't all settle to the bottom even after sitting for 30 min. A previous poster stated their drink separated or wasn't mixed properly. Didn't notice any such thing with my beverage. I tried my husband's epresso and I have to say the flavor of the actual coffee is amazing. Never tasted anything so delicious. We both noticed that there was a smooth almost buttery/toffee flavor to both drinks with zero bitter after taste. I found it very addicting. I'm a big fan of Starbucks but the coffee here is by far better. The Grounds will definitely be my go to from now on.

Had my first visit here and was pleased to find that I could get a hot chocolate made with almond milk. They got the drink PERFECT. The shop was very clean and well laid out with plenty of seating. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!

I think I found my neighborhood coffee house!Great atmosphere with extremely friendly staff! The service is professional and you don't feel like the staff is on an assembly line, like your drink is one of thousands they are making that morning. Wholesome and comforting feeling about the place! And my Chai Latte was awesome, better than a place more commercial!

Really cute, quiet place with friendly staff. I picked up two drinks, a cappuccino and white mocha for my grandma. Their espresso is strong and fresh, I was really impressed by that! The white mocha is very good, and I don't like white mocha but it's hands down better than Starbucks. I was a bit disappointed with my cappuccino, it wasn't really "mixed" well, there was too much separation between the milk and espresso. The flavor was great so maybe it was just a fluke.
Also, good news for a lot of people I know, their hot drinks are HOT!! That means a lot to me and my friends, we often get lukewarm coffee drinks places and it's just disappointing, but not here.
There wasn't a lot in the way of pastries (cookies, quiche), but that doesn't bother me. Just FYI.

Nice, relaxing place with strong espresso options for either sweet or classic tastes. Would recommend!
