Depot Grille

Another great place to eat. The food is always prepared exactly as you want it. Their steaks are legendary, and the fried mushroom appetizer is a great starter!! The Depot has never let me down as I've eaten there numerous times.

Kaitlin was amazing she recommended I try the ribs and I am so glad she did the flavor was amazing and they melted right off the bone. I love coming here and whenever I am in town me and my fiance go. Can not wait to come back.

This place was amazing. I took my family there for dinner. We got seated right away on a Saturday night when it was relatively busy. Our server Susan was amazing (highly recommend her). I told her about my allergy to soy and she told the kitchen staff. They prepared my meal completely without soy, using different butters and separating my food from others. My meal was supposed to come with mushrooms but they had soy so the staff took off a dollar from the price of my meal. She warned me what appetizers had soy and brought me extra crackers with the spinach artichoke dip. Not only was the staff amazing, the food was equally as delicious. The Alfredo was like nothing I have ever had. The only down fall was the parking was not the best but if you have a chance to eat here, totally do it!

I went there with a friend recently and had the prime rib dinner. It was cooked rare as I had ordered it and it came with mushrooms, also good. My friend ordered the salmon which she enjoyed and the food was plentiful. My reason for not giving this five stars is because the service was slow. Although our meals were served quickly, our server never returned to ask if we needed any drink refills, and at the end of the meal we waited forever to get the check.

Stayed at the Stonewall Jackson hotel. They recommend The Mill restaurant. After checking the menu and the pics of the food we decided to try The Depot Grille instead. Let me say we were Not disappointed. The food here was fantastic. The blue cheese on my Chicken Cobb salad was the best. My wife had the Steak Medallions and they were perfect. Not sure why The Mill is so highly recommended but I highly recommend the Depot Grille.
