The Pompei Lounge

Ok, look guys; I have drank QUITE a bit in my life, and have therefore been to QUITE a few bars, and I have NEVER, EVER had a better bartender than Ms. Kate over at the Pompeii Lounge! Best cocktails I have EVER had! (And don't worry, if Kate isn't there, the other bartenders are pretty awesome as well!!) As far as the lounge goes: IMPECCABLE atmosphere! They have so many rooms to enjoy yourself in, (and all SO comfy, by the way), you'll forget that you're not at home! Not to mention the outdoor areas they have! BREATHTAKING, to say the least! Please, if you are a cocktail aficionado, [like myself], and you find yourself ANYWHERE near VA, PLEASE, do yourself a favor, and get your butt over to the Pompeii lounge, and visit Ms. Kate and everyone else NOW!! They will never dissapoint, I guarantee!! ???????? (Side note: if you love Tequila, DEFINITELY make your way there on a Tuesday! They have the BEST tequila specials!!)

Love going here, all the bartenders are super awesome, and drinks are super tasty! The vibe at Pompei is super chill and it's a nice place to relax!

Good food and drinks. Great staff. Smoking allowed. Sometimes they have live bands.

We went on Thursday, which had a comedy night on their top floor. Super cool bar/lounge. It has indoor out door areas. Multiple levels, rooms and lounge areas. Generous pours. We hung out there several hours enjoying great conversation and the chill atmosphere

The Pompei is one of my favorite music venues. Located in a historic multi-floor row house, the Pompei is the perfect place to meet friends for a drink in one of the many cozy parlors decorated with comfortable couches and funky accessories. The bands play in a room on the top floor in front of a fireplace. Despite the small spaces, it somehow never feels oppressive even with a capacity crowd. Smoking is allowed indoors, so it isn't the place for those who are sensitive. For me, the vibe is the thing, and the friendly crowd always makes me feel welcome.
