Vintage Tavern

Magnificent meal and service! Our server,Keith, was knowledgeable and recommended perfect meals for me and my husband. We had the Norfolk crab appetizer along with the beef tenderloin and crab cakes. I can't believe that this is owned by the same people that own Decoys. Vintage Tavern is by far, a better restaurant experience. I commend the manager or chef for their accomplishments.

This was one of the best dining experiences my husband & I just had! The attention from the waitstaff is precise - informed and welcoming. We are visiting from DC and the VT was recommended -- creative & classic southern fare - but with outstanding taste & style. We've eaten delicious meals around the world &:were unbelievably surprised & impressed. From high quality cocktails to sweetest desserts - and for us city-state the price was right on!!!

First time visiting Vintage Tavern and decided to sit in the bar area. Bartender was very attentive to patrons despite having to tend to a fairly-full bar. It was obvious she cared about the cocktails she made and if they didn't meet her expectations, she continued to refine until they were acceptable. She was well-versed in cocktails outside of the restaurant's menu, which was refreshing. The food selection in the bar area was quite expansive. The taste of southern is definitely worth trying. The only downside to this establishment is the prices. I would recommend this restaurant and will likely patronize again but not as frequently if the prices were a little lower.

I had the restaurant week special with the mushroom soup, ahi tuna and chocolate torte. The food and the environment was great. The staff was really nice and courteous. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is they came by several times without refilling our drinks.

I loved this place. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of one is because the food was not phenomenal. I had the impression that it was a southern delicacy type place, but the food left a little to be deserved. The wait staff however was phenomenal. The alcohol selection was great and the atmosphere was super romantic. The wait staff set us by a big beautiful fireplace and made our date night incredible.
