Blue Pete's Restaurant

Heard good things about this place and I really wanted to try it. The place was warm, it seemed the AC did not work well that day, wait time was not bad 15 min for a table for two around 7sh. The waiters was very nice and she knew she was doing. Ordered a she crab soup, pound of crab legs and water. She crab was amazing with abundant peaces of meat and they crab legs were good nothing special. Water tasted kind of funny maybe like a rusted pipe. The overall experience was ok, but honestly not worth the 30-40 min drive

This place was amazing!! Great atmosphere, casual (but the food was anything but casual), drinks were amazing and the staff was friendly.
There was a band playing when I went and they were really good. It was nice to sit outside and chat with friends with the ambiance of music

I haven't been here in about 7 or 8 years and we went here on Father's Day weekend. Not the best time to do a review but...the food was good and it was definitely crowded. The air conditioning couldn't keep up and service was fair. But I would definitely go back on a non holiday. The view is definitely unique and cozy.

Super friendly staff. Food was amazing! Best she-crab soup in the area (we try it at every restaurant we go to in VA Beach) by far. Live music and entertainment. From the bartender to the servers to the owners walking around, the service was amazing and everyone is incredibly eager to help and make it a great experience. Highly recommend. Lovely dockside views add to the experience.

I loved the vibe of this place. It is a bustling restaurant backed up to the marsh. The place was very busy when we went, but we got great service. They have some great local beer on tap, and the food was very good. I had the Philly cheese steak, and my girlfriend had whole fried fish. We loved visiting.
