I've always been a huge fan of Carrabba's. Everytime we've move to another state or city I've made a point to find the nearest Carrabba's. This location can do a little better with happy hour. I'm not impressed with the way the happy hour works that it must be at the bar to receive the option. And when I order a drink during happy hour that isn't a happy hour special and I pay the full price then I'd expect the full service of my drink like my detailed garnishes. That's just me but that's part of my reasoning for loving Carrabba's with their details. The service was quite okay but it has been better. The food was kind of bland this time. Hopefully it wont be the same next time.
I would have loved to have given this restaurant five stars. The server was attentive and polite, and the food was delicious. However; what prohibited me from giving the two additional was the wait period. Originally we were told 10-15 minutes for a party of 7, that wait turned into almost an hour. Tables were available for dining for parties 4 or less, but the problem that awaited those patient and inpatient customers was the understaffing. They did not have enough bartenders or servers to meet the need of those wanting to dine. People were coming in, looking at empty high tables and asking why they couldn't be seated in the bar area. In my personal opinion, they should have offered those who were waiting a drink or a free appetizer due to the extensive wait period. While I understand that restaurants can't always assume down to the minute how long people will dine, they do have the option to extend a token to those who have waited well beyond their given waiting period. This would have kept those around me, as well as myself, appeased. Perhaps today or this week during their staff meeting, they will look at how to alleviate this issue. Promising and not delivering is not a good way to keep a business thriving. There's too much competition out there to maintain that level of pride.
This location is a hidden jewel. First, the happy hour is 7 days a week from 4-6:30pm. Many places don't offer happy hour on Fridays or during the weekend. Second, the customer service is always a pleasure and they insure all things are corrected to insure the customer is pleased. Double PLUS!!! Lastly, the prices are reasonable and the food is good.
Yum, delicious Italian food with an awesome 3:00-6:30 happy hour where we can get our favorite drinks and appetizers for ONLY $5!! We also love the all you can eat soup and salad lunch! I highly recommend their peach sangria($5) as well as the blackberry bubbly($5)!! We usually pair these drinks with the huge plate of mussels($5) and calamari. They have a delicious Margherita pizza, cheesy buttery pasta dishes, and the most delicious, warm bread loaf with olive oil and spices for dipping in! We eat here every week, sometimes several days!
