Gerald's Ice Cream Bar

FANTASTIC. First of all, this place is so immaculately clean. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted so warmly by the employees. The cost isn't cheap but definitely reasonable - and YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. The ice cream was amazing. Thick, rich, creamy. Very flavorful. Tried the banana, peanut butter, fudge ice cream, the peach ice cream, and the dark chocolate ice cream. All were to die for. Wonderful customer service. Also the staff seemed so very grateful for our business. I can't recommend this place enough!!!

Super Good! I am surprised that this place has this rating at the moment. After trying their ice cream it became our favorite! We have tried all the ice cream shops in Virginia Beach and this is the best!!! Is it pricier than other ones? Little pricier. But it is worth it! It may not be a place where you wanna go every day, but for a treat once in a while. The store is super clean, staff is polite and very informative and it’s a big plus that everything is natural. The icea cream is so creamy and flavorful, and the sugar cones are super good and crunchy and the scoop size is big.

Just had a birthday last week. We had the Crazy for Chocolate Ice Cream birthday cake and it was the best ever. We also sampled a new item called Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Cake. This may be my favorite ever. If you have not been you have to try Geralds. You will love it!

The ice cream shop looks great. The variety of flavors great. The price...a bit pricey. The flavor is okay. It definitely doesn't taste like other shops. It's probably because it's all natural and handmade. My buds aren't used to that. I'll have to try it again... Then give an update.

Pricier, yes but being from DC I guess I'm unphased better ingredients cost more. I stopped in the day before my actual visit and both times the staff were friendly and helpful. You can tell the ingredients were high quality the flavor and texture were fantastic. I had peach and my partner had vanilla with fresh blueberry compote, both were excellent.
