Hands down THE best tacos in town!
No question why they're voted Virginia Beach's best fish tacos 6 years in a row.
But all the tacos are dank,
Service is wonderful, music is fire,
The salsa is so good you could drink it,
And the margaritas are crisp. All around good vibes here.
If you're in the area this is a must.

Gringo's has the best fish tacos I've ever tasted!! The location is slightly off the beaten path but it is well worth it. Be mindful if visiting on a humid day; depending on the time of day you could be waiting inside for a seat for a while and the air circulation isn't the best. Once inside the restaurant the atmosphere is small but charming, the servers are attentive and the food is fantastic. Highly recommend!

Love to hit this place when in town. The food is awesome and always served with fresh ingredients. The drink menu is expanded to more than your typical margaritas and cervezas. Service was friendly and fast. Seating is limited so plan your visit around meal times.

This place is amazing! Probably the best kept secret in Virginia Beach. Although it’s not much of a secret anymore. When we first started coming here years ago it was very small. Recently it just got very very busy as they’ve expanded. We try to go during the week in the middle of the day. If you try to go Friday or Saturday night you will be waiting for at least an hour.

The fish tacos are the best fish tacos in Virginia Beach, and the shrimp tacos are very good as well. Honestly I haven’t tried a taco that I don’t like. I also really love the pineapple shrimp quesadilla. Yum!

Now the bartender (and maybe a partial owner? I’m not sure) is fantastic! When they are crazy busy he will come take your drink order while you wait in the hall way and the drinks that this guy makes are hand down the best drinks we’ve ever had. He makes a lot of different custom cocktails and wow! Just wow!

The owner is also fantastic. She is so kind and always is walking around delivering food and making sure everyone is okay.

My only wish for this place is that they can expand to accommodate more people BUT I hope they never change their hospitality and quality of food.

Great fish tacos! This place may be tucked in between a couple of other places but it is worth the wait. Generous portions.This was my first visit and I will definitely be back.
