Happy Cafe I can't say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. The food is great. They have a spin on southern cuisine that is unparalleled in the local area. At this time when cleanliness is paramount you want to eat at the Happy Cafe in Va Beach it is super clean and the staff is so warm and welcoming. You have to go there to eat it is a must. Its my new go to. Join me to a grab and go lunch and dinner at the Happy Cafe. Its the best in town!!!

We are so pleased to welcome the Happy Cafe to our neighborhood. My family and I often get take out here, and the food and attention to detail are most remarkable. As an example, before leaving with your takeout order, the chefs will literally open up the carry out container and show you your food. This is to make sure the order is correct and the food is too your liking. I’m so grateful for this kind of service. Plus, there’s something for everyone here at the Happy Cafe!!!

The Happy Cafe is a warm and loving place. You can tell by the service alone they are genuinely concerned about your experience here. I would recommend this place a thousand times plus. This is a place that puts there customers first and I love that because today we live in a world where customer service is foreign. The food is amazing I had the Cloud 9 which consisted of bourbon smoked chicken, sautéed shrimp and season red potatoes. I will definitely be back again and again. Thank you so much to the staff for letting me know that somewhere out there customer service still exist and it’s here at The Happy Cafe.

Very nice small cafe in Virginia Beach. The owner and staff are friendly and attentive. The food is high quality and delicious. They serve breakfast/brunch style meals as well as having an "after 4" menu that includes smoked wings and shrimp mac and cheese, amongst other things.

When you walk in, there a counter directly in front of you, presumably for take out orders, with the kitchen directly behind it and in full view, and it is immaculate. To the left is the dining area,which is warmly decorated and is a very comfortable and relaxing space.

I just made my first visit and I am certain to return.

This was such a cute spot tucked into a small strip hidden off the road. I decided to go with the wheat Avocado Toast with veggies, hash browns, and a black coffee. The meal came out placed perfectly on a slim plate. The toast was done just right and topped with some mouth watering veggies. It was clean and had a hint of salt, pepper, and oil. It was fantastic. The hash browns are diced very small, dusted with some pepper and we're delicious. The coffee was smooth and had no bitterness at all. The layout of this Cafe is adorable. Clean, soft tones everywhere with humble decor. The staff was extremely pleasant, well mannered, and did a great job running this place! I'll definitely be back again. I do wish they had more vegetarian options but I was extremely pleased with what I did experience.
