First time going. The young lady that took my order was very friendly. Food was good. I would go back again.
Food is scrumptious and staff is extremely friendly and sweet. Great service. Food made fresh. So be patient! It's worth the wait!!!
The dirtier the restaurant, the better the food. Like seriously, this place is not well kept. The outside doesn’t look too bad, it’s in a shopping plaza. However, once you’re inside, the tables and chairs were older and you could tell. The garbage can looked like it hadn’t been wiped down in years. The signage for the menu was on regular computer paper and taped to the wall. If you pay with a card, it costs extra. Ghetto but whatever. The cashier/hostess was nice. Food arrived in a timely manner. We ate inside and our food was presented in a to-go-container. I ordered the chicken wing dinner. It came with two sides and I opted for the yams and Mac & Cheese. The chicken wings were good, hot and fresh. Very nicely seasoned. The yams were a little mushy but good and sweet. Max & cheese was also delicious. If I lived in Virginia, I would definitely come again but as a “tourist”, it was just okay. The presentation of the restaurant and food was a let down. The owners need to do some work.
Absolutely worth the visit!! Visiting from Texas and I loved this food. Must try!! Will come back before we leave.
