Mayflower Cafe

So sad to learn that this outstanding restaurant is closing permanently tonight (last night). Have enjoyed wonderful food and people here for years. Was told another restaurant will be opened here in two months with a breakfast styled menu. Heartbroken!

The food here is delicious and tastes like it was made with love. With every order you get some bread, and ours was definitely just pulled out of the oven--still warm and soft. The yogurtlu kebab I ordered was perfectly seasoned and tender. Our waitress, Anastasia, checked up on us regularly, but not in an annoying way, just very caring and attentive.

Delicious Med-style plates! Good prices too. I used the Door Dash app and it was here hot and still fresh. Can't wait to eat here again.

I am amazed by the food at this place. I have eaten in many many places all over the world and the Mayflower is definitely among my top choices. The service was excellent. The lamb was amazing. I am pleasantly in awe. If you like this type of food, try the Mayflower it’s beyond it’s place in Virginia Beach.

We really enjoyed our food here. Everything was high quality and the lamb melted in my mouth. If we're in Virginia Beach again we'll definitely come back. Our only complaint was that our waitress greeted us smelling like a chimney, she aired out by the end of our meal but it was still a bummer.
