Nona's Italian Kitchen

Ordered from here last night! Food was great! I got the Penne Vodka Pasta and my boyfriend got the gyro! Order arrived quickly! I was able to order from their website. Only drawbacks were the cheese sauce was a little fake, and our delivery driver was rude about the tip. He wouldn’t hand over the food until we tipped him, made me feel really weird because I assumed I would just write it on the receipt. Then I ended up only tipping 10 percent because of his attitude and demeanor and he laughed and made a snide remark about that being all I had. Weird experience there. I would order again but I would hope I don’t get that driver.

One of our top three restaurants in the Hampton roads area! Definitely our #1 for Italian! The food is and always has been amazing and very diverse. Service is great and the owner is very kind and personable! Must visit!!!

Wow! Being new to the area, we really looked at reviews and saw this place was super close to us. Upon entering it’s a decent sized place but with a cozy feel and we were warmly greeted. The garlic knots were unbelievable. I could’ve eaten the whole tray (but I had to share). Everyone was ecstatic over their dishes. Mine had a small issue, that I didn’t mention, and the owner noticed I didn’t eat much and went so far above and beyond to make me happy. Fantastic. Please try this place out, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

My family's FAVORITE Italian restaurant. They have the best garlic knots in all of Virginia. I am nearly 50 yoa and I never really liked "red sauce" (marinara) until I ate it here. Their pizza is also really amazing and so are all the pasta dishes!! The service is awesome. We met the owner once while we were there and she really goes above and beyond for her customers. Love this place!!

AMAZING! The food was made to order, fresh and very tasty! The owner Nona was a delight, and very accommodating. I stumbled upon it while searching for food near Lynnhaven Mall, and I am so happy that I did not settle for anything else. It is absolutely delicious, inexpensive, and i wish i could eat there every day. Thanks Nona, You are awesome! I cant wait until I eat there again.
