One Fish Two Fish

I have been here multiple times and the food is fantastic. The oysters appetizer are amazing, probably spent over a hundred on these alone. These are the best oysters around. Wow. 3 couples catching up before Thanksgiving and were not expecting an off-the-chart great tasting meal. 2 had the Halibut pan died special, one Salmon, one crab cakes and an 8oz filet. We all shared how tasty our selections. Halibut was slightly caramelized and very fresh. The crab was reported moist and not too much breading. No sauce needed. The Salmon has a sweet tangy sauce that was available on the side, pan seared. The restaurant was not busy and service was terrific and they knew how to make Espresso Martinis for desert. Definitely would go back.

Loved the martinis and the sunset to go with them. My She Crab Soup, while cream based, was delicious -- it could have used a little more Sherry. We decided to go with a single crab cake (rather than two) over a bed of green beans with a corn/pineapple relish accompaniment. This was more than enough to satisfy our appetites, and the tartare sauce was smooth and a nice accent. It also allowed us to share desserts with friends. Great setting too! Enjoy!!

Don't believe the petty negative reviews... this place is top shelf - from the bar, to the wine, to the food, to the ambiance... all A+++... if they are lacking anywhere, its in the service. Waitresses/Waiters are not really trained and local - but nice - they just lack the training you would find in a first class restaurant. Also - the girls at the front door are a little snooty. BUT - the food/drinks/ambiance are all first class. Had a great meal here with my family... will return again and again and again... and location on the water is great! Best restaurant in Virginia Beach.

Love this place. Been coming here for years. Beautiful views and good food. My wife's favorite place to celebrate her birthday and our anniversary. On the last visit the manager was very helpful with accommodation of our short notice reservation for a large party. Thank you.

Good food, great ambience. The restaurant is on the water so you can see the sunset. Customer service was good but nothing outstanding. I will definitely recommend the crab soup! It was very good.
I went to this restaurant for my birthday and I agree with one of the previous reviews, they need to drizzle some type of message on the dessert “happy birthday” or other message depending on the occasion (my dessert didn’t have any type of birthday message) We thought the dessert was going to be complimentary since it was my birthday but that was not the case
