Romano's Macaroni Grill

Went in sat night for my daughters 21 birthday and sat in bar area. Was really impressed food was great and we even got a free dessert for her birthday. The waitress Holley really made a great night even better.

Okay, so let me start by saying first that I never really cared for this restaurant. The portions were small the pasta was dry and the food was pretty bland at best. However my mother likes it. So when I offered to take her out to dinner one night, she wanted to go here. I kind of figured all right I'll get a simple appetizer and after I take her home I'll go out and get something else to eat. But their menu has changed and I decided I would take a chance. I was definitely surprised. It was the complete opposite of everything that I had experienced in this restaurant previously. The portions were very generous, write online with a restaurant like Carrabba's. The pasta was very good and the seafood was flavorful. I even went so far as to try their teramusu. It too was very good. I called the manager over and was speaking to him. And he took over last year, and started making a lot of changes. Whatever he did definitely seems to be working and I will have no problem going back to this place. I would recommend it.

Used to go a lot and stopped going about 3 years ago because they seemed to be trying to cut corners to save money and quality went way down. The cream for coffee was nonfat milk!

They redid their menu and the taste is back to a high quality. Calories posted on all menu items which affected our choices. For $2.50, you get unlimited salad or soup. I had all 3 soups and my wife had caesar's salad. It is now one of my favorite restaurants in town center. Bread is delicious too.

The food was as expected the Italian mule is amazing. However, on a Wednesday at 5:30pm it was pretty slow and yet we waited to be greeted and seated. Once our bill was paid I had to walk around to try to find our waitress to tip her cash. I just added the tip ( it was less than planned) to the bill and left.
