Signature Grille

Slow service and the food wasn't great.

After attending events at Virginia Beach National Golf Club over the years it’s time to weigh in on their restaurant. The Signature Grille is open to the public.

The parking area in front of the main building should be adequate. The area on each visit has been tidy and no more than a stray golf ball occasionally found. The landscaping nice.

A few words about the public course. It’s a premier Pete Dye design w/ assistance from Tour Pro Curtis Strange. The exterior of the main building is looking aged and I have seen some areas that are in need of power wash, paint and even wood replacement.

The Signature Grille has been just ok on my few breakfast visits and one lunch. The dining room is very nice and seems formal with its dark wood and linen table cloths. They have a small bar and adjoining area with TV’s. Service a bit above average, but absent at times when slow. The food items such as omelettes average, to below. Sandwich for lunch ok. Pricing fantastic!

In the mornings I typically find the dining room dead for weekday breakfast. The business they receive in the morning is from gofers grab and go window. I personally would not go out of my way for a breakfast alone. The lunch specials I would however. They also offer dinner specials which I have yet to try.

Give them a try for a round of golf, special event, or grabbing a bite to eat. It's a beautiful area. 3.5, rounding down.

The Signature Grille food is ALL wonderfully and carefully prepared. And prepared to order with the attention to all details. The food is top notch quality delicousness! We had the Ruben and Signature Hamburger. The hamburger was cooked and spiced perfectly. And the Ruben, oh my, the best ever! It melted in my mouth, was crunchy, and juicy, and so yummy! Just perfect!
