Smartmouth Brewing Pilot House

LARGE draft list; open, clean warehouse space with plenty of seating. I wish the pizza spot had been open, because the oven is beautiful. All of the bartenders I interacted with were knowledgeable about the beers, gave me some great recommendations for the rest of my visit. It's your classic warehouse taproom, but it doesn't feel like a cliche. Thanks y'all.

Great vibe! Was there for Reggae Fest and Arts & Crafts show with Laura. Event was swarmed by young artistic types with purple hair, tats & piercings.

Great selection of house beers too!

Large, open inside with lots of seating. Well behaved dogs on leash welcome inside! Our pup loved the attention. The staff was so friendly, and the beers were excellent!

Great beer. I like that they still offer flights, which a lot of breweries are doing away with. I also appreciate the notation of what contains milk (hint: it's called Cow-something for a reason) as I'm vegan. Environment was what you could expect from a brewery (kids and dogs welcome) plus they had a movie playing on a big screen.

Nice brewery in Virginia Beach. Nice places to sit indoor and out. I had the Game On and Awkward Pause. Both were decent beers. Friendly staff. Worth checking out.
