Enjoyed dinner with the family there. It was busy on a Monday night, so get there early. Despite the crowd, the service was smooth and satisfactory. The food was generous and very tasty. I had the Snapper Mediterranean with a rice pilaf and a side of broccoli. Very good food. Deserts were also rich and flavorful.

Locals told us about this hidden gem. The seafood was the best I have ever eaten. I ordered the tuna special. You must try the oysters! Amazing. Highly recommend this place. It reminded me of a surf bar or dive bar, but food was excellent.

We went to Tautog’s based on a recommendation from a waitress where we ate breakfast. Then another recommendation from a couple who were riding the bus. Wow. Not sure how to describe it. It was awesome. We had the crab nachos to start with. She-crab soup was delicious. And my husband had the fish special - catch of the day. And enjoyed the homemade sangria. We wanted to go back for dessert but didn’t have time. And we were just to full for dessert but definitely sounded good!

A great dinner just off of the strip. The outside of the cottage doesn't look like much, but I highly recommend it! Crab legs were fresh and buttery. The she-crab soup was fantastic. I had crab cakes and potatoes and they were as described, world-famous. Ended the meal with the infamous bread pudding. Highly recommend! Ask about any off-the-menu specials. We saw some amazing corn on the cob coming out of the kitchen.

This is a cozy family seafood restaurant. Of course, a little pricey but well worth it. I ordered the she-crab soup and the oyster appetizer of the day and was fully satisfied. The rest of my family ordered different popular dishes off the menu and everyone loved what they had. If you're looking for fine family dining right near the boardwalk, this is it.
