Hen House Farm to Table

Had a delicious beet salad. Farm to table food inside of Abingdon Commons. Great location for breakfast/lunch. Coffee and pastries inside of Abingdon Commons as well.

Found this while charging my car down the street. Wonderful food. Thanks Abingdon for bringing people into town with EV charging.

Found Hen House via Google while in the area for work. What a gem! It sits within an adorable foodhall/market and has local owners. Ordered the Farm Bowl and loved every bite! Yum!

My husband and I recently traveled through Abingdon, Va. and stopped for a bite to eat at the Hen House Food Truck located in Abingdon Vineyards. We were both very impressed and satisfied. From the moment I walked up to the truck, I could tell that this was no ordinary food truck experience.

The menu had a variety of food options, each with a unique twist that demonstrated their culinary skills. After a brief chat with the staff, I settled on trying their most popular dish, {Patatas Bravas} with pulled chicken added. What arrived on my plate was a blend of textures and flavors that clearly showcased the use of fresh, quality ingredients.

The quiet environment along the lake was vibrant and inviting, setting the perfect backdrop for a peaceful experience.

The Hen House is a gem in the world of food trucks. The fusion of creativity, flavors, and exceptional service makes it a must-visit for anyone seeking an elevated street food experience. I can't wait to return and explore more of their culinary offerings. Kudos to Nic, Jada and the staff for delivering an exceptional dining journey on wheels! Loved it!

Oh my gosh, this food was SO good! Their mushrooms and sweet corn were amazing and we really loved how well the chicken was cooked and served with lemon and avocado. Really delicious!
