The City Foxes

Amazing space, amazing food, amazing staff. So glad we discovered this gem!!!

The wine selection is great and the atmosphere is really nice! We had one of the dessert samplers there and it was delicious. We've come here a few times and it's always been a good experience!

The City Foxes has a soothing ambiance, high quality menu items and a fantastic wine selection. The Thibaut and Janisson sparkling wine recommended by the owners was phenomenal…as was the crème brûlée in a jar. Casablanca was playing on the giant projector in the front of the room which added to the vibe. Highly recommend The City Foxes to anyone looking for a relaxed atmosphere and great wine.

I had two opportunities at the beginning of October to enjoy The City Foxes! First, when my sister-in law and I attended the Grace Estate tasting event, and then again for a private event we booked for my parents 50th anniversary! The tasting was excellent, with multiple wines and lots of information from the maker!! Afterwards, we stayed and tried a couple other drinks, as well as the cheesecakes(so... good!!)!

The space was just right for the 45-50 guests that we had. Kelly and Brandon(the owners), graciously let us use their projector to run a slideshow we made for my parents, as well lending a hand for the setup and breakdown of everything!
Also, the staff they provided us with cannot go unmentioned! Veronica and Karina were key in helping the guests throughout the party, in addition to aiding in the setup and breakdown as well. Everyone after the event had nothing but praise for them and the venue itself!

If you haven’t gotten out to The City Foxes yet you should GO! Everything is curated with such care from the retail shelves featuring all Virginia-made wares (including some of my favorite maple syrup), to the local wine and food menu! The local cheese board I had was really delicious and well-balanced between salty and sweet options— so excited to come back and try more things here!! The vibe is cozy and hip, bringing new life to downtown Waynesboro!
