Stopped here during a recent road trip with my wife for lunch. The food was great and was very reasonable. The server was a guy named Dennis and at the very least, he deserves a raise. He gave excellent service while taking care of numerous tables. Very enjoyable stop
The food was delicious. The portions were perfect. The service was slow. It took forever to get seated and to be waited on and then to even place our order. We sat for 5-8 minutes before the waitress came to greet us. It took longer in between drinks and placing our order. They weren’t that busy at 1:30-2 in the afternoon. We had 8 and a high chair. The hostess says they have a high top available. I said does your high chairs reach the high top (knowing it didn’t and wanting a different table) she said I can put two together to make it taller. Really?! I said you don’t have any other tables? No. Literally tables open all over. You may be trying to keep all in one area but if you’re trying to accommodate a large party shouldn’t you, I don’t know..accommodate us. Prices were reasonable.
Great food, with some unique offerings. I had the 'swamp cheese' on a burger, very good and not the typical pub fare.
Pub food at the right price. The service is good enough and most of the wait staff have been there for a while and know the menu and what can be done, they are friendly and capable.
Don't expect much in the way of anything beyond what you would expect at any basic pub, but at least the service is nice and the place is clean.
Great outdoor area if the weather is nice and ample seating.
