The BBQ is simply outstanding! A true taste of North Carolina. Don't be afraid of the lines folks. They get people in and out fast.
Awesome fast food. Most of the negative comments should be taken down. At this moment the establishment is new and these people are from different areas helping open this restaurant and they’re working on hiring and training new staff. This team most likely hasn’t worked together before and does not know each other’s strengths or weaknesses. I’ve been here a couple times and honestly my food was definitely wrong one time, which was disappointing yes but also understandable. And I guarantee if I would have approached the store about it they would have happily corrected it. This is a southern inspired chain with great food and great sweet tea.
I ordered two hot dogs with everything on it and some onion rings. Drive thru was wrapped around building BUT moving! The onion rings are arguably better than sonic and the hot dogs taste like it came from a cook out really great! Never been to a place like this so it was nice to try something new. I got a copy of their menu and wow they have so much more will definitely have to stop by again.
Food was great and the service was fabulous. I ordered a burger with onion rings and fries. Fries could be better, but the onion rings were good. Burger was also good and not sloppily thrown together. Overall this cookout earns a 4 star review. Great food at a price you can’t beat!
Absolutely love Cook-Out itself. Tasty, fresh, juicy burgers and incredible deals. I was a little disappointed tonight, though. I completely understand that they just opened and are completely slammed to where the line is out to Pleasant Valley. I just wish they did a better job at making sure everything in the order was correct. There was no cheese on mine or my partner’s burgers. I didn’t get my burger toppings even though I repeated it twice. No fork for coleslaw, no napkins, no straws. Also, we didn’t get our change back. Not a big deal since it was 56 cents but it’s still very unprofessional. Hopefully after being open for a little longer it’ll be more organized.
