15 of us shared an approximate 30 year reunion of the Cork Street faithful. The ribs were still good and the service exceptional. ANTHONY and his staff went out of their way to accommodate us on a busy Friday night. Hope we have another 3 years there!
Had a delicious lunch of the Spicy Southwest Burger, meat temperature was perfect. Our waitress was very friendly and kept the drink cups filled the whole time. Very neat piece of history in town, and a great spot to hang out.
Visiting the area. Didn't want to eat at a chain, wanted local. Not crowded early Friday evening, service was good. Had the chicken fried chicken. Did not disappoint. Would recommend if in the area.
Cork Street Tavern was a last minute dining choice for me and my wife. She chose it specifically because she saw they served deep fried corn. It was delicious! The food was well prepared and the wait staff was friendly, attentive, and timely. There can be a lively crew at the bar which got a little noisy at times but that is a part of the "Tavern" experience. Prices were reasonable for the area but not cheap. Enjoy the deep fried corn when you try the place out!
We were a party of nine and the young lady working with us was kind and helpful, she made sure to not only keep our drinks topped off, she made time to tells us a little about the area. The food was out in a timely manner even though the party was large. To top it off the food was great. The next time I pass through Winchester Virginia I'll make sure to stop in.
