Firefly Cafe and Bakery

This restaurant had a great menu, was reasonably priced, very quiet and peaceful compared to chain restaurants, and their wait staff did a good job of serving their patrons.

I love this place. Food is always good and the sandwiches are interesting, not typical. Baked items are exceptional. There is often a little bit of a wait, but it's worth it. I also appreciate the fact that many of the team members have a "disability". I hesitate to use that word as they are all very capable and friendly. Bravo for an exceptional cafe!

This place is run by Northwest Workshop and many of their clients work there. The food is outstanding. Nothing fance but very good variety and tasting. Definitely highly recommend it.

We have been stopping at Firefly on the way from New Jersey to Virginia Tech for the last 5 years. We asked them to make my brother cupcakes for graduation and this is what they created for us! The food is great, customer service is amazing, and we could not recommend them more!

You can never go wrong with Firefly! ...except when you don't want to see anyone you know. :-) There are always tons of great people there, so many people coming there to meet, especially from the local business community and members of the Top of VA Regional Chamber. Coffee is always spot-on and the food is fantastic. Definitely recommend it if you haven't tried it yet. Didn't mention the fabulous non-profit it supports helping people with disabilities in our local community (NW Works), makes coming to Firefly even better.
