Found this jewel while looking for lunch in Big Stone Gap.....we were so pleased with our coal-fired pizza @BSG. From the friendly greeting by the young man taking our order to the interesting historical building details from the owners....couldn't be more pleased with our visit. So much so that we are returning today for their gospel brunch....and of course another pizza. You don't need to eat here but do yourself a favor.....grab a friend or two and split the best pizza ever!!

Amazing food, genuinely nice owners, beautiful surroundings and atmosphere. Limited menu but the pizza is delicious. Please give this restaurant a try. You won't be disappointed.

We stopped by yesterday and it was our first visit to this wonderful place. It has a lovely quaint atmosphere. We were too early for the live music happening later, but I happily experienced what is quite possibly the best pizza I have ever had. ? And it’s baked in a coal fired oven. Absolutely delicious! ❤️

Unique place which is something small town places like BSG needs. Wife and I tried lunch and it exceeded expectations. Followed the journey on this store since I first heard about it and was delighted. Never had coal fired pizza and the crust is great! Light, crispy and sea salt adds nice tasty touch. Simple choices like mozzarella or feta cheese, white or red sauce. Simple! Wife has pasta salad, which was excellent as well. Cold soda in bottle is something I always enjoyed as a kid, love places that have this option!

Lots of love and effort went into the restoration and decorating of the building and it shows. Again, unique and may not be for all, but I enjoyed the lunch and friendly atmosphere. Will be back and if your either a local or first time visitor to the area...definitely worth a visit!
