    Clearly a local place, but def go it a tourist. Quick turnaround service. Kids meals are HUGE! Literally, our 2 and 3 yo could have shared one. Very large drinks. Lots of parking and in a convenient location.

    Excellent place to eat breakfast or lunch. The food is fantastic and you a good portion of food for a reasonable cost. Staff are friendly and provide excellent customer service. I would recommend anyone to try them out, you will not be disappointed.

    I have to say the pictures of the food is what got us in there. But the taste will being us back. We were met at the door but smiles all around and it was busy. Constant movement of the servers and a lack of empty seats confirmed the popularity of this breakfast place.

    From the start, the coffee was hot and delicious. Our order was taken quickly and by a very friendly waitress. Corned beef hash, eggs and a side of pancakes. It came before I expected and was better than I hoped. My coffee was refilled and the second coffee was better than the first.

    The pancake was great with a sweet flavour to the batter that really didn't need syrup.

    I can't recommend this place any more than I am. I look forward to returning.

    Overall our experience at Shorty’s Dinner in Williamsburg, VA was amazing. The food was so delicious. On Friday nights during the summer they are open till 8 pm. Our family rolled into to the restaurant 15 min to close and the staff were very tentative and accommodating to our large party as they were closing. The Patty Melt that I ate was definitely one of the best hamburgers I have had. The Shorty’s fries are hand cut and taste absolutely amazing. The best fries around for sure!! Laura, our waitress was great! She made our family feel right at home. I have nothing bad to say about this experience, and will most likely be back in the morning for breakfast!!

    Exactly what a diner should be - quick, food with good music and a friendly staff.
    Can't beat the key-lime pie! G
    we got away from the tourist area. Well worth the extra couple of minute drive.
    Would happily go back the next time we're in the area.
