This is our family's escape/treat dinner go-to. The seafood is fresh. My favorite dish is the "Sonny Delight." My husband varies between the fried seafood platter and the scampi. Our daughter loves the scallops, and our son tends to choose the cod. Every server is always attentive and professional, but our favorite is Eddie.

Great place to eat. Kid Friendly. Reasonably priced. Easy walk from local hotels. Food and service were both great.

I transcended several times eating here. Yes its pricey, but it's well worth it. Everything is handcrafted and amazing here and the staff are simply excellent. I would recommend it to any tourist or anyone I general!

I have nothing but positive things to say about The Whaling Company. The atmosphere was whale-coming and the service was phenomenal. Sonny and Eddie were very attentive and friendly and made the entire experience 10 out of 5 stars. The food was delicious as well, I had the Sonny's Delight and my husband had the Stuffed Flounder; We couldn't get over how delicious it all was! Definitely a diner you want to go if you are in the Williamsburg or surrounding areas! Will definitely visit again!

CAN NOT say enough good things. The food was very good and our server, Sadie I think her name was, was AWESOME. The restaurant atmosphere had a "Steak and Ale" kind of feel to it and we were definitely skeptical at first. We had never been, so no idea what to expect. It was a little expensive, but we knew that going in. The tuna appetizer was delicious, as were our dinners. If you are out that way and looking for a dinner joint, you won't be disappointed here.
