Came here when they first opened and from the moment I pulled in they greeted me. They had great customer service especially being able to work and accommodate my daughters sesame allergy. They were able to make sure it didn't come in contact with our food. That's is something we really appreciate. Food was fresh and delicious. Glad to see they take pride especially coming from Texas and seeing they open a Raising Canes. Will definitely keep coming back.
It had been about 9 years since I had Cane's in another state so I was overjoyed about the opening of this restaurant in VA. I dined in at the Yorktown location a few days after opening and was surprised to get parking easily and to be served so quickly. The food, especially the sauce, was as delicious as I remember it being. The fries were hot and fresh, perfectly salted and the chicken is tender though I suppose it would taste plain if you didn't like the sauce. The vibes were great with lots of additional employees who were friendly and helpful. Reccomend getting an extra sauce to go with your fries and chicken. The only thing I dislike is the coleslaw but it's a fantastic meal overall and enough to satisfy for about $12. Highly reccomend.
Is it unique? Yes. It is worth all the hype? No. Is it good? Yes. Is it better than Chick-fil-A? Definitely not. This was my first time going, and I was excited to see what it was all about. You could certainly tell that they did their best to copy Chick-fil-A’s best-in-the-world drive through, but honestly, it took a lot longer than I expected for a restaurant that serves literally one thing. Okay, like five things, fine. Tenders, toast, fries, coleslaw, cane sauce. The chicken was good, but can’t really compare to Chick-fil-A, due to its lack of flavor. The coleslaw wasn’t special, it was just fine. The cane sauce is very good, but I wouldn’t say addicting. Crinkle cut fries I suppose were slightly better than the ones we had in middle school. That’s really all to note. The staff was great, and I really appreciated that. I love their branding, and the interior is very nice and unique as well, it’s fun! I am curious as to why there’s a dog on their roof. I love dogs, so I’m all for it, I just don’t get it. Going through the drive through, I was behind one person, and it took me about ten minutes to get my food. I was getting almost impatient near the end of that ten minutes, but my excitement for new food and remembrance that it was still fast, helped. But I would dare to say it was below the average drive through time, even despite their seemingly advanced system. I would go again if other people wanted to go, but I’m not sure I’ll choose it. I can get just as much for much less at many other places, and often I can get it faster as well.
The menu is super streamlined, which completely fine since it allows them to focus on making great chicken fingers. Ordering online was super simple, and the instructions for pickup were very straightforward. Pulling up to the building, everything was clearly marked for drive-thru and dine in. Once inside, I was greeted quickly and the staff was super friendly. I was in and out within 2 minutes with my hot and fresh food.
The chicken was very clearly made to order; light, crispy breading for the juicy tenders. Everything was hot and fresh. I just personally wish they had more customization options like an extra sauce or two or pickles for the sandwich. However, the overall experience was absolutely fantastic!
