“I stop in here almost weekly, and the lattes have been great! The first time I went I also had the coffee cake which was really good & soft as well. Even at the end of their day I was greeted with a cheery bonjour and was able to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of a great coffee break. I have to note that on my visit last week I left without being able to order as it seemed as though the one person working was taking out trash and must’ve not seen me & the other gentleman that were perusing the shop…but I’m sure it was just an oversight as I’ve been told that this area can be pretty slow on Tuesday afternoons. “Good food. Comfortable, casual environment. Pretty wide selection. Why not give it a try. My wife and I love that this place is right down the block from us so we can walk over for a quick bite. The only downside is street parking if you don’t live nearby but it’s worth trying to go. Not only are there great doughnuts, but the sandwiches, soups, and other foods are great as well. This last time I had the tomato basil soup and papas bravas, while my wife had the oatmeal (she loves it) and the fig, honey, and burrata toast. This is a nice, relaxing place to grab a bite. The food is good. The menu is somewhat wide. The service staff are friendly. And the atmosphere is comfortable. My wife and I went there for a quick bite and enjoyed the beautiful weather while we ate. The only downside is parking, which is street. There are a few parking garages nearby to work with. My wife had the bagel and lox, and I had the tomato basil soup and home fries. Flavors were perfect.”

“I just finished with my first visit to this place. Several items purchased and $70 later, this is my review. The store was extremely clean. The staff greeted me warmly as soon as I walked thru the door. They had several hard-to-find items that I am happy to add to my pantry. Additionally, the meat is fresh, as is the delicious looking desserts like the Baklava I bought. Lastly, I received a free dessert upon leaving. I highly recommend this place. The breakfast sandwiches and biscuit sandwiches are to die for. They always make the brown sugar shaken espresso so perfect too that I wouldn’t even go back to an actual Starbucks again. “This Parisian themed breakfast/ lunch restaurant/bakery has a quirky ordering system, but once you figure it out and get used to it, the line you have to stand in to place your order goes pretty quickly, even during breakfast rush hour. The breakfast food among the 6 of us got an “average” rating, nothing to write home about! The bottle neck created by the line and the quirky ordering system is very uncomfortable to navigate, and even stretches into the dining area, with people in line bumping up against your chair while you’re eating. The prices for a breakfast plate were high, but the real price gouging is in the bakery items, absolutely ridiculous and greedy. I won’t be going back for these reasons.”

“I got in line on a Sunday evening as a way to mark the end of summer, and I was pleasantly surprised to see a line of 6-8 people to place their orders and another 4-6 people waiting for their ice cream on the other side. Service at both counters was friendly and efficient given the number of customers. I waited for what seemed like five minutes or so which I thought was reasonable. Others ate their ice cream around the store, but I took my ice cream away so I could freeze one for the next day and eat the other. The flavor selection was more diverse than what I had seen at a couple of other ice cream parlors. Not being as much a chocolate or nut fan as most, I was able to sample four more fruity flavors in two small cups for just over $10 total. The textures for all four scoops were predictably smooth throughout. The pie-flavored scoops of key lime and apple crunch had the brightest tastes for me. I liked the crunch element for the apple pie scoop, and I found the bright green color for the key lime appealing (I hope it was not artificial). The banana scoop was also quite satisfying, even if I had a deeper flavor elsewhere. The blackberry looked the part, and I would have liked a more assertive flavor to go with the purple color. I thought getting the variety of flavors for under $3 a scoop proved to be a decent value for the area with friendly service, so I could see myself visiting in the future if I wanted a more unique ice cream flavor or two or three or four.”
