Sandy's Waffle & Dinner Haus

The waitstaff was SO kind. The food was amazing, and it was obvious it was made with love. The waffles were really good, the bacon was amazingly crispy, and the hot chocolate was perfect. There was laughter throughout the whole restaurant and I loved the environment. This is a must restaurant to go to if you visit Leavenworth.

We loved this place! Quaint and such a friendly staff. Clearly short staffed like the rest of the world, but they talked to everyone like they had been there a hundred times. Absolutely darling people, and the food was amazing. Definitely want to come back here next time we are in town!

Pleasant environment. The wait list moved swiftly. The coffee was standard and rather light. The kids menu options were exactly what the kids (7 year old & 4 year old) needed. The pumpkin waffle was a pleasant change. The banana bread French toast was delicious and didn't even need syrup. The service was excellent. If I could improve one thing it would be to prevent the constant draft that interrupts an otherwise pleasant experience.

Easily some of the BEST chicken fried steak I’ve ever had! Tender with a soft crunch. Amazing gravy! Make sure to get the cranberry mimosa to really complete your brunch!
