Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort

I stayed for 3 nights with my best friend. The grounds are serene, with a magestic mountain backdrop and spacious area between cabins under the canopy of giant pines. There were wonderful chorus frogs this time of year (late April) and a herd of small dear grazed through right outside our window one morning.
Everything felt really well-cared for and maintained, though the pool was not usable at the time of our visit, the hot-tub was, and that was much appreciated.
My friend and I each had one spa treatment and were very satisfied with the quality of service.
Breakfast options were good and food was fresh and tasty.
We ate dinner at the resort once, and it was not fresh, and not tasty. But the rest of our stay was so lovely, I'd give 5 stars anyway, and next time we'll bring our own dinner or eat in town.
Town is only 5 minutes away, so it's super convenient.

Nice quality cabin rooms with shared walls. Good heating, nice quiet energy with a retreat feel. You do need to plan for hauling your bags from the car to the room, it's a little walk, but they do provide carts you can use. Great breakfast you call and order ahead and pay for, but excellent cafe quality food. We love staying here, it's a nice woodsy relaxed experience.

Just the right amount of rustic. Visiting in the off season is a treat for those looking for some quiet. Not much open at the resort in March, but Leavenworth is right down the road. Cabins are clean and rustic but not run down. Some great privacy at the premium cabins. There's something magical about sitting in an outdoor hot tub with mountains on two sides and deep snow melting in the spring air. Top marks for pure serenity.

10/10 recommend! For those who are looking for a winter oasis away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Leavenworth. Reconnect with the quiet and outdoors. This was a wonderful stay! We stayed in a loft with 3 adults and a 2 year old and we’re very comfortable. O’Gradys was closed but kingfisher was open and we were pleasantly surprised to be able to have breakfast, lunch and dinner available to dine in on site. They have a limited menu but still plenty of options to find something you’d like. Friday night we enjoyed cocktails at the Grotto which is always fun. We absolutely love coming here to sleeping lady and love the great service that comes from all staff and the community that stays here. This was our fourth time staying here and first time since the pandemic. Though not all things were running, we were impressed with the things they did offer. And the refrigerators in the rooms were a nice addition, I hope those stick around! We will back again!
