So glad we found this place. Luckily we were staying close by or we would have missed it. We went for a late lunch and had their special of the day, chicken fried steak, with fried okra and homemade mashed potatoes. The steak was fresh and hand breaded. Very good. Now for the waitresses.
This is my go to spot for Indian food in Vancouver. I prefer buffet style, particularly with Indian cuisine, because there are so many memorable dishes, each with very different textures and spices. I have to say, their flavors are usually spot on.
My wife convinced me to go here for lunch and she was right.. This place has amazing food. We went for the lunch buffet and enjoyed each and every dish. It deserves nothing less than 5 stars
Just visited this place. Amazing food, and amazing service. The staff is very sweet, polite, and considerate. If you love south Indian food, you should visit this place. Would recommend this place to someone who wants to eat one of the best Indian food.
Food was very flavorful and delicious. The service was on the slower side, but more concerning was the dirty look the waiter (I feel like he was the owner of the restaurant) when I asked to split a meal for my two children. When a restaurant doesn't have a kids menu I am not paying for a full meal for each of them when together that cannot finish one entree. Either have a kids menu or expect kids to split a meal. I'm not sure we'll visit again based on the ridiculous reaction to splitting a meal. There are other restaurants with good Indian food that don't give customers condescending looks.
