This is one of the best if not the best Thai Food establishments in the Portland/Vancouver area. If you haven't been and you love Thai you owe it to yourself to go. The only thing I wish they did is a weekend lunch special menu like they have for weekdays. If you know of a better place after going please share.

Really good food, more authentic than other places! Love the soup, curry and stir fry! Friendly service too!! Usually just get take out but they have a decent size area for dining in.

This place is always amazing with wonderful food. I know when mamma and papa are cooking it's just makes the food taste that much better. I got my Padwoonsen to go but couldnt wait to get it home and started eating it along the way. Thanks for the past 13 years of my coming there always having the best flavors and freshest of veggies!!!!

Dok Koon has delicious food with good sized portions. I always have leftovers. This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Vancouver. I love that it is owned by a family who always seem to be enjoying each other's company in the front room. I highly recommend them. Their food tastes authentic and is better quality than other places in town. The red curry with that spongy fried tofu is my favorite!

The food itself was very nice, I actually like their Pad Thai. It's not slimy or smelly like most restaurants but tastes like real home cooked Thai dishes.

A word of warning: I was feeling bold and told the server to make my dish as spicy as they make it and I had legit pain eating the food haha! Stay with the more mild versions of the dishes????
