Fuji's Grill & Sushi

As my fellow 3rd shifters know, finding a place that serves dinner type foods in the mornings can be frustrating. (lunch menus just aren't the same). At first, we thought it would be the same here. Fortunately, our experience was incredibly pleasant.

The man who seated us (John), was very polite, and went out of his way to keep us happy. When we asked about ordering off of the dinner menu, he was unsure, but very quickly went back to ask the cook /chef (Kiet).

We were very quickly assured that we could be accommodated. The cook/chef came out after he had our order, and very calmly and confidently, prepared our meal to our specifications. He was very good, and very polite.

The restaurant itself is a pleasure to be in. Love the decor. Great food, good drinks, fantastic service.

Definitely plan to go again, probably with a group of our 3rd shift fellows..

I love this place, I ate at Fuji’s 15 years ago and had my very first taste of sushi here, ironically it was the first place my wife ate sushi. Now 10 years later we have returned to Vancouver and this is the first place our 3 year old ate sushi. Still delicious, all of the staff are warm and welcoming. I will be eating here until I fall off the stool. 5 stars, absolutely one of my favorite places to eat at.

We ate at the grill, it was great. The cook has been there a very long time and is very nice about customizing how you want things cooked. The portions are large, enough for 2 average appetites. Always enjoy going there.

We've been coming to Fuji's for almost 20 years. We love the shared tables and central grill.
The service and food are consistent - and delivered in a friendly atmosphere.
Be sure to ask about the "onion volcano" when they are cooking up your food - it's a fun little treat.

Had a great new york strip here, they bring it out to you before cooking to show the marbling and quality of the meat, and for a $13 lunch I was extremely impressed with the meat. Chef cooked it right in front of me and it was so good! Can't wait to come back.
