The "fun guy" is a very good burger. Highly recommend this place. You wouldn't know it's vegan food if it wasn't written on the menu. So good!!!
Went on date night here Saturday and it was AMAZING. We got the Moo Burger and added avocado and vegan bacon. I hadn't tried a vegan hamburger yet and I was in SHOCK how it tasted like an actual hamburger. The outside seating is super cute too. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to all my friends and family!
Great new spot for weekend vegan burgers and fries.
I had the mushroom burger and it was delicious. My husband had the Hot Mess, only critique was he wished there was more of the spicy sauce. Next time we will get a side. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. We got a side of each sauce to try (cause we love sauce!)and the garlic aioli was the winner for us. My 1 1/2 year old ate most of it while contentedly sitting in her highchair. This never happens so you know it is good. We had a beer while we waited in the outdoor seating area and really enjoyed ourselves. Service was quick and friendly. Oh, and the side salad was awesome, especially for only $2. Definitely will be back to try the other options.
My vegan family and I are thrilled to finally have a plant based restaurant open up in Vancouver! We decided to try it out and ordered on their app- which we found to be super user friendly- and picked it up. It was ready right on time!
All three of our burgers were so full of flavor and so juicy! We ordered the Moo, Fun Guy, Q Burgers, a side salad and some fries. My fiancé was smitten over the habanero pineapple sauce slathered all over them. I kind of had to do a double take to make sure the burgers weren’t actual meat because they were THAT good. The buns were delicious and buttery. The fries were thin and plentiful.
On top of that, we checked out their website and LOVE what they represent and stand for.
If we had to critique it at all, we would only say that the fries were slightly more salty than we were used to, however some people might dig it that way.
Can’t wait to go back with extended family and have them try it. They won’t believe it’s vegan. ;)
This meat lover is now craving plant- based burgers!!! I have to admit I was skeptical at first. I’d never had a plant-based burger and as a massive lover of meat and cheese, I couldn’t imagine they could compare to the real deal. I was on a trip to Portland from NYC with a friend who was vegan and insisted we stop by Moo in Vancouver.
The outdoor area was super cute with wooden benches along the street outside. The beer and kombucha menu was possibly the best I’ve seen, with a curated selection of local and regional beers for every palette. The menu had a few really nice sounding burger options so it was hard to decide, but I went with the “Hot Mess” which had roasted jalapeño and a pineapple habanero vegan aioli.
This burger was FIREEE!!!! And not just from the heat of the peppers which packed a punch, but we’re were not too overpowering and perfectly balanced with the sweetness of the pineapple. The bun had a buttery flavor and was toasted on the outside and soft on the inside. The burger patty had crispy edges and a meaty flavor while the “cheese” was gooey and melty, which made me not miss their non-vegan counterparts.
I was honestly blown away by how much I I loved this burger and am still craving it weeks later! I will definitely be going again on my next trip to the Portland area and try some of the other selections. My only complaint is that they haven’t opened a location in Brooklyn.
