Great burgers, but what knew it even better is the overall experience!! Very cool throw back to the old tone soda fountain and burger place from the 50s. Excellent service, fantastic ambiance and good ok' American feel!! I will continue to come back often. Love this place! Sid took an old burger place and brought back the nostalgia of old with a fountain and grill that serves up some great food!
Friendly, low-key service. The taste of the pizza was on-point, but the consistency - it was very wet and pretty sloppy. Maybe that’s the style they’re going for? Willing to try again.
This restaurant is doubtless one of the best place in the neighborhood. Anytime I come to this place I am so glad. They preserve their high standard service and the highest level of food they give. You always win with this restaurant. Warmly recommended.
The crust has the perfect texture and flavor of a pizza from Italy. I love the thin crust that doesn't leave you so full like typical American pizza. Slightly charred in the open fire oven and a bit soft. It's perfect. And the sauce tastes just like typical Italian sauce. The arugula salad had a gorgeous presentation and ingredients full of flavor and I loved the bowl lined with gorgonzola cheese. Yum!! It would probably be best if this place was a little further from home :)
Loved the interior of this trendy pizzeria. Cool and crisp white with black accents punctuated by stacks of wood under the benches in the dining area. This is authentic wood-fired pizza done right. The pizza oven was a very impressive structure, a stand alone oven covered on the outside with white subway style tile. We were a big group of 8 and they had no problems seating us. Order at the counter and your piping hot pizza with be delivered to your table in no time with a nice little char here and there from the wood-fired oven. They have a paired down menu, but all of the ingredients that go into their pizza are of an exceptional quality. This pie was tasty, but I had a hard time eating one by myself. If you are with a group a friends, order a few pies and share. The small, select offering of local beers was just right. I’m from the northeast where terrific pizzerias are quite common and found in every town. Nonavo’s Pizza was definitely a restaurant I would return to when I’m in the area.
