Omys cafe

Thank you to Yelp because we would have never come across this place on our own! We went on a Friday night and waiting an hour was certainly worth it. The hostess offered to take a cocktail order, so I went with the Collins and it did not disappoint. We ordered four different dishes:

She's your traditional greasy spoon nice sized portions great stuff and friendly customers doesn't look like much on the outside but definitely worth it.

Great, friendly service and the decor is cute especially the restroom. The coffee was very bitter and the eggs were undercooked.

Absolutely incredible spot. I only wish they were open 24/7, but I know that's an unreasonable demand. Their platter is out of this world amazing. Quaint and humble cafe with fair prices and kind staff. Anytime I have a friend come down to Vancouver, my first question is "Have you been to Omy's?"

This is a hole-in-the-wall, tiny, all the mugs are different, bathroom is through the kitchen kind of place where you can get a decent bite to eat. I have the same waitress every time I go there. Today I had grilled cheese and I added tomato and bacon to it...it was great! They put a good portion of bacon in it. I do not go for chicken fried steak, but when I take people here, they rave about it. We go there probably once every couple of months.
