Exactly what you'd expect. Stiff drinks for good price. Stage in the back 2 pool tables. Friendly staff. Outdoor area share with the whiskey bar next door

We stopped for brunch and the food was incredible. The bloody mary and mimosa bar(s) were great. And everything was delicious and the service also first rate.
This was a great way to prepare for the Star Wars IMAX day we planned, but I would drop in again any day or time. Great place.

Happy hour specials are amazing and the kitchen is excellent... Usually play a bit of pool too and not a crazy wait even on busy nights. Happy hour lasts a long time too.

Food and drinks are always good and staff are nice. The drinks can be stiff if you're into that. This is a long time local hangout where you'll find business lunches during the weekdays and a lot of industry people and a fun crowd at night. The weekends have a great brunch, especially with the patio, and it's over all a relaxed time. Dogs welcome on patio too. It's old school, but with creative food. A bit divey, but not old. A hint of Irish, but not fake. If I were visiting town, I'm not sure this is where I would post up, but it is an institution in Vancouver. Worth checking out of you live in town for sure.
