As an establishment this place is great, as a potential employer I was unimpressed with being interrupted, and told what I was available w/o there being mutual dialogue on what could be worked out. The manager on duty that shift should have gracefully said they were either seeking other candidates or not hiring at this time. Situation could have reflected mutual respect on behalf of the establishment way better than what it was. So they lose a star. Happy to find work elsewhere, it was just poorly handled from a professional point of view.

Shari's is a competent diner. Think of it as a slightly upscale Denny's with higher quality food, pies, and higher prices. Service is competent and friendly, and the kitchen is prompt. It is also open 24 hours a day, making for a convenient place for late-night dining excursions. Finish it off with a very large menu, and you have a pretty decent place to dine.

Went on a Wednesday and had no idea they give free pies on Wednesday. Our waiter was so nice and the food was amazing. Definitely going back again soon!
