Always great food, gluten sensitive with many great options...the Crispy Chicken Basil is amazing. Family run with a great and friendly staff. They can get busy at times but well worth it.
Usually a 5 star experience, today was not that, the service was not there at all. When a person orders food to go, the least you can do is give them a means to eat said food, so here I sit on the job with food that I get to eat like a dog because a simple plastic fork or even a pair of chopsticks where beyond comprehension, also discussing other dissatisfied customers in front of your current customer as though they are not there is a bit unprofessional, save those conversations for the back room or a time when you are not actively serving other customers.
And for service sake throw a fork or chopsticks and maybe even a napkin or two in the bag, to-go orders at lunch time are people on the run, they need those things to enjoy their meal and expect them to be in the bag.
The food is wonderful and fresh as always. This time I only have them 4 stars because the service was totally lacking. It was a normal, fairly busy lunch time but certainly not packed. They took our order but, when the food started coming, we had to ask for napkins and silverware. We also asked for more water. Got the silverware, no water. We tried to flag someone down, no luck. I finally hobbled on my cast over and picked up a pitcher and took it back to my table, remarking that we couldn't get anyone to bring us any. That did not prompt increased service. Very disappointing as I love this restaurant.
Great food!!! Thai is a "big" hit or miss kind of food. I'm very sceptical when people tell me hey "it's a great Thai place" . I've been burned to many time. One to many visits to the bathroom if you know what I mean. This food sat really well in my stomach. I ate my pineapple fried rice with chicken last night. I finished the left overs for lunch. My dish tasted amazing even on the second day.
I like how the only person that gave a one star review was about the fact that the food came out late, and not in the right order! That should tell you something. Food is great, nothing to complain about.
