Wicked Good

The small unassuming food cart pod on 78th street contains a bright shining gem. Wicked Good offers a modest selection of items at reasonable prices. We tried this place at the recommendation of a family member and I cannot disagree. My wife and I shared a Philly Cheesesteak, Clam Chowdah and Frickles (Fried Pickles). We ordered the cheese curds, turns out they were out and we chose the pickles instead. Everything came out in a reasonable amount of time, piping hot! There is fresh hot food then there is what wicked good is producing mouth scalding tastiness. The philly cheesesteak was perfect, exactly what you should expect of one. The clam Chowdah is thinner than many in the area but exceeds in flavor. Willamette week add this guy to your chowder list. The Fried pickles are better than I could have ever hoped. A robust golden crust than tolerates half bites, a real pickle in the middle. No neon green pickles here. I imagine we will be back in short order to try more items, or have the same! Either way it will be a pleasure.

Stopped by and ordered the fried pickles. They were by far the best fried pickles I've had in a very long time. My family decided that they thought so too as I had to order another.

On top of that the owner is incredibly nice and the service was fantastic.

A darn good cheesesteak and fries -- And I'm not even a cheesesteak guy! A nice treat, if a bit on the pricier side.

Good Philly cheesesteak, nice flavor and food was hot and fresh. The fried pickles were good and huge. I prefer a sweeter tomato bisque, this one was ok but better for dunking a sandwich in than eating straight.
