Rosie's restaurant was good. The waitress was friendly however super busy so service was alright. Rosie came by our table and was pleasant and a cute old lady. I ordered a chicken fried steak eggs basted over medium. They got the eggs right and gravy was very good but the chicken fried was disappointing, not seasoned well and tough. The hash browns were perfectly lightly brown and crispy. I tried my husband's pancakes which to my surprise was an appetizer, I was super please. The pancake was very fluffy, cooked all the way and tasty. I would go back just for the pancakes. Overall it's not a bad place to go to, it's very roomie and plenty of counter space, you'll see what I'm talking about. I'd go back again to try other stuff on their menu

Cozy! My husband and I were driving through Woodland on a Sunday morning on I5. We wanted a good home cooked breakfast, We found Rosie's Restaurant, We were greeted by Rosie's grandson he sat us in the back and we had a great conversation. We ordered biscuits and gravy and a Ham and egg breakfast. The food was exactly what we were craving. Rosie herself even stopped at our table and introduced herself. There are paintings throughout the restaurant that Rosie and her husband painted for sale. There very good. I would recommend this place if you want a home cooked meal.

This is my new post-camping spot for breakfast!

Huge menu for such a small restaurant, and breakfast all day. It's got a roadside diner feel, in a good way. Rosie introduced herself soon after we got our food and she was all smiles.

The servers teamed up to ensure we had everything we needed. Coffee was fresh and refilled as needed, so was the tea. Breakfast was hot and ready in about 25 minutes. I had "Grandma's Breakfast Special" - the half size - and it was more than enough for this 225 lb grown man after a weekend of camping. Sausage gravy on top of eggs, ham, and veggies. Cheese melted on top. Superb.

My table mates ordered their meals and had to tap out due to the size of the pancakes. These were hearty, fluffy, thick pancakes made to perfection. All of us were happy with our meals.

Food was great, atmosphere was great, speed was great, service was great. No complaints from us. We'll be back regularly.

Took my son here for lunch a couple weeks ago. The waitress was friendly. The owner walked around and checked on things which was nice. The food was good, but nothing to brag about. We were sitting at the counter. At one point even the other went into the kitchen, one of the cooks seemed to start an argument with her, which could clearly be seen and heard by us at the counter and likely the rest of the dining room. So that was kind of awkward.
