An updated and modern Mexican spot with beautiful artwork and very good food! Good for drinks and a small to medium meal.

The music was a little too loud for lunchtime (we were almost shouting) and menu options aren’t what you’d expect from a typical Mexican restaurant. They don’t offer side dishes such as rice or beans, the seafood was $20+ per dish and almost every single option had shrimp in it (there is no fish here), the tacos only have three options (adobada/pork, pollo/chicken, carne asada/beef) and there was one taco option that had birria but it has habañero included. They also didn’t have lemonade :(

We tried their asada fries (pictured) which were VERY yummy. Their mussels were out for blood - SO spicy! The Quesabirria was also very good, it’s about the size of a medium tortilla folded in half.

The menu uses a QR code that allows you to order from there and offers small pictures of some of the options which are, admittedly, hard to see. Our waitress was kind enough to explain many of the options to us but that could have been avoided if the menu were updated just a little bit better. All options are also pretty much exclusively in Spanish ONLY.

If you’re looking for a true Mexican meal (fajitas, chimichanga, enchiladas, etc.) fix get it someplace else. Overall, good food but had too much of a clubby atmosphere for what we were expecting which is likely the fault of our own.

Angie and Karla were the best! The owners are the sweetest. Ceviche and tacos were on point. Their drinks did not disappoint. Will definitely be back!
