Food is ok - it's a lokal meeting point

The people were friendly, the service was a little slow, possibly a little under staffed. We were hoping for a better selection of dinner items, salads, baked potatoes and such. Because it's a bar setting, the menu items were mostly burgers fries gizzards and a couple of other sandwiches. They did serve breakfast all day, which is what I had and my partner had a French dip which were good. The background noise from the bar was a little more than I was expecting in a sit down restaurant.

I'm saying that the Fish & Chips that I had yesterday, was the VERY BEST, anywhere in Washington State!! Mike's Place is worth the extra time to drive to, totally loved his fish. Awesome! Can honestly say that I've shared with many at the office today, its worth going to Mardon to enjoy this time, the restaurant is clean, friendly and fun atmosphere. Did I mention prices? So reasonable. Love the atmosphere and plan on eating alot of fish and chips here in 2018. (once a week would be great!!) A photo was taken with the owners Mom (?) who took Mike's t-shirts, cut the emblems and logos's and quilted hangings, she also was our waitress helping out. She was a delight.
