Akins Fresh Market

The staff is friendly and efficient. The shelves were well stocked. The place is clean even when buses of customers are there.
The exterior is kept tidy as well. There are plenty of parking places, including handicap parking.

I had the pleasure of enjoying their donuts every morning while camping at Gorge amphitheater. Apparently Akins market supplies the donuts to the campers there and the staff at the gorge had nothing but wonderful things to say about the market. I can attest to their donuts being about the best donuts I've ever had. Not to mention that, but I had the opportunity to meet Nick Akins at the concert who extended to me a random act of kindness that will not be forgotten for a long time. THANK YOU NICK and Akins Market!!! Anyone who crosses paths with either will be better off for it!

Dear Akins,
Why did you stop stocking Pure Leaf Sweet Tea? It tastes much better than the several other brands on your shelves. I searched the whole store and could not find any of the large, 64 oz, or the single, 18 oz, bottles. I would rather shop locally but I can go to Walmart to get Pure Leaf Sweet Tea and anything else on my list.

Akins is a great home town grocery store... great sales and friendly atmosphere... I shop here weekly...
Also they have been getting in canning supplies... anyone who does home canning knows that jar lids have been hard to find and when you do happen to find them they are price gouging... I'm VERY PLEASED to say that even though Akins wasn't the cheapest place to buy supplies they haven't raised there prices either.... so I have been buying my supplies there.... thank you Akins for taking care of your local customers....
