Stopped by here driving to Ocean Shores cause I was hungry, and let me tell you, this was literally one of the BEST restaraunts I've ever been to. Food was amazing, staff was friendly, and the environment of the restaraunt made me feel comfortable and at home.
I suggest trying one of their pies for a dessert, they are absolutely amazing. One of the best I've ever had.
Pretty awesome for 7 at night on a cross Washington trip. 4 star food, good service and pretty quiet. This is a religious establishment but it wasn't very pushy.
The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly. It did take a bit longer than it should have considering what we had and the number of customers. My husband enjoyed his prime rib sandwich, unfortunately I didn't enjoy the cod fish and chips. The cod was tasteless to slightly fishy. The tartar sauce was made with way to much pickle juice! It was also served on a small plate, piled high. This made it difficult to eat, let alone room for condiments.
I was disappointed.
The food is like having a home cooked meal. 3 out of 4 of us had chicken fried steak and it was delicious. The fried chicken looked amazing. They have the best sweet potato biscuits. The pies are huge and amazing. The staff was very friendly. Will be back!
My husband and I ate dinner here for the first time this evening. The restaurant was very clean and cute inside with a warm hometown feel. The waitress was friendly and our food was seriously delicious!
We both had the $13.99 salmon dinner which included a side salad, baked potato with butter and sour cream, green beans, & a homemade sweet potato biscuit with butter and strawberry jam.
I noticed there was a real estate flyer on each table showing the restaurant is for sale. When I asked the waitress about it, she stated "The owners have been running this restaurant for 13 years and would like to retire soon. It's not closing. They will continue to run it until it's sold." That makes me happy!! I'll be back!!
