Auld Holland Inn - Whidbey Island Hotel

The area, staff, location were all superb. The pricing for each room was reasonable and fair. The small town feel of Oak Harbor is definitely enhanced by this local area lodging. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quaint and homey place to stay with an attentive staff and enjoyable theme.

Quaint unique little place to stay on the island. The location is convenient as home base to stay on the island for a couple days. Definitely enjoyed our time there.

The service was very friendly and welcoming and the room was clean. Definitely a little dated but I knew that going in and I looked at it as being part of a rustic type of experience. Don't expect a Hyatt type of level of modern design and amenities, that's not what the experience is for.

It's a nice warm little family owned hotel with its own charm in a convenient area of the island. Overall very pleased with the experience.

But in a world where that were true, this hotel will remind you why chain hotels are fine, but lack soul, and why would you ever choose them over an amazing, uniquely charming place like the Auld Holland? From the small details full of old world charm, to the staff who were authentically warm and made us feel really valued as people, not just customers, we were giddy with joy and dumbfounded that the place had any vacancy this weekend. We will always stay there when visiting Whidbey; we kept wondering how we got so lucky to have stumbled upon this special hotel. Please support this hidden gem, because places like this are rare and magical.

My husband and I have been staying at Auld Holland Inn for many years. We love the comfortable, homey feel and convenient location. In our recent stay we had a problem with the room they had reserved for us. Noah and Matt at the front desk made a special effort to find us something better.
