Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

The drive through lane took a very long time, but the staff was friendly and motivated. Also, is this the only place for cheese curds on the island?

I thought it was great. The service was awesome, The restroom wasn't too fabulous though.

The food was good but the service not so much. We waited about 25 minutes for our hamburger and our chicken fingers. While we waited, we ate our sundaes which were delivered to our table right away. I observed that the lady across from us received a burger when she had ordered a fish sandwich. The counter girl corrected her order and then a guy brought her another fish sandwich! She told him that she already had one. He left it on the table and told her she could keep it.
We ordered ranch dressing, but they were out......it was the middle of the day?
The manager came to our table and asked for our receipt. We showed it to her and she said to come to the register after we ate and she'd refund our money. Ok, we did that.
It was kind of her to offer.

DQ in Oak Harbor has always had great food, especially ice cream treats, great prices and very good counter service! Today, Father's Day was a bit rough, though. Lots of families, drive through down due to an unforeseen difficulty leading to longer than usual waits! Food was still excellent!
