Off The Hook

Good drinks and food. Great place to have a good time.

Have only been twice. Not really my type of crowd. But a fun set up. There's a stage, small dance floor, a beer pong table, and pool tables. The owner is probably the best part of this place. He made our date night much more enjoyable the first night we went there.
I don't know what is up with his staff though, but the last time we were there, they were slammed, and the poor girls just couldn't handle it. As former bartenders ourselves, we were patient but everyone else around were pretty upset with their service. They couldn't get drinks right and seemed really irritated at everything.

Definitely a fun place for a younger crowd.

I so want to play at this venue again. It hot packed and everyone was having a great time. Also there was a pretty hot bartender but that has little to do with this review. I dig the ambiance of the place and the games in the back. Also they are wicked close to a Filipino restaurant which is important for us pinoy boys. Nothing like playing a raucous show with a belly full of home food and brew.

I always enjoy Off The Hook more for the people than anything else. I don't get harassed by drunk frat boys and if I did I have full faith that the staff would take care of it. It's a bit of a dive complete with two flawed pool tables with awkward obstacles, a quiet seating area with an electric fireplace, a dance floor with plenty of space, the whole bar area where it's like Cheers with crusty old regulars.... I love it. And the mixed drinks are actually strong and worth the money. Where does that happen? They do a great job of cleaning up abandoned glasses and everything through the night, keeping things fairly tidy, as well as doing walk throughs and making sure nothing untoward is happening.

Side note: The bathrooms are tiny, yet drunk women still congregate. We will overcome!!! ????
