Delicious food. The wife had the quiche and side Caesar salad. I had the hot Italian withe a side of tomatoe bisque. All the food was freshly made. The wait staff was attentive and always had a smile.
Cucumber and lemon water in a unique bottle was cool. The menu is simple yet Devine. The rustica salad was a blast, never had a rustica ball of cheese. Cheesception if you will. Try the wines too.
Great staff and a start to a good menu. Just needs some more customer support so it can support the effort. Best date night resteraunt in Oak Harbor.
Rustica is one of those places I pass by every other day and think "I have got to try that!". I finally did and was not disappointed. Went there on a Friday night around 7 and it the first thing I noticed was the rustic decor that made you feel like you just walked into a well kept barn on the Italian country side.
The menu was the perfect size, not so many options you get lost, and not so small you feel forced into a decision. The drink menu was fantastic and had a selection of local spirits and brews that really showcased the rustic vibe even further.
The food was fantastic. And reasonably priced for what you are actually getting. Those of you on here complaining of price should have stopped to actually research the ingredients you were consuming. If you want high quality you pay slightly higher prices.
Anyways, back to the food. It was delicious and I would recommend Rustica to anyone looking for a nice quiet date night with their partner or for those who want delicious clean food.
I will be returning to Rustica as they have made a die hard fan out of me.
Ok first things first, this is a small business, so if you want fast food, and low prices go to McDonald's. The food, drinks and water came to us in a good amount of time. I would say we waiting not even 3 minutes for water, ordered our food and good good quality food in about 10 or 15 minutes. The food was wonderful. But if you like boring and no robust food again go to McDonald's. This uses flavors throughout its menu. Again not cheap it is a great date night once a month for dinner and good for lunches.
